This will be a mail-in ballot election only with no polling places. If the election is uncontested (with no more candidates than there are vacancies for a particular office) the election for that office(s) will be cancelled.
If you are interested in being a candidate, you must submit a completed Petition to the Town Clerk's office at 5566 S. Sycamore Street, Littleton, CO 80120. Candidates must be registered electors at least 18 years of age who have resided in Bow Mar for at least the 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. Petitions will be accepted beginning February 13 and must be received no later than 5 p.m. on March 2, 2012.
Please note that votes for write-in candidates will not be counted pursuant to Sec. 2-2 of the Bow Mar Municipal Code unless the write-in candidate has filed an affidavit of intent at least 20 days prior to Election Day (March 14).
