TOWN OF BOW MAR, COLORADO - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ORDINANCE NO. 272 – AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK will be considered for adoption by the Board of Trustees at a Public Hearing on May 21, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be held at No. 2 Middlefield Road, Columbine Valley, Colorado. Members of the public are welcome to attend and provide comment. The Town of Bow Mar is located between Bowles Lake and Marston Reservoir in Southwest Denver. The first home was built in 1947 on land developed by Lloyd and Eleanor King. The Town of Bow Mar, Colorado was incorporated in 1958. There are just over 300 single-family homes in Bow Mar on acre-sized lots, many with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains foothills. Despite being only 12 miles from downtown Denver, there is a strong sense of community more akin to rural living. Bow Mar's centerpiece is Bowles Lake or "Bow Mar" Lake, as it's come to be called. Sailing, swimming, fishing, picnicking and skating provide year-round recreation for residents. The following Budget ordinances were adopted at the December 12,2011 Board of

Election Results for Ballot Issue 2J - Road Bond Program Total - Yes: 184 votes No: 246 votes. The measure was defeated by 62 votes. The breakdown of voting is as follows: Arapahoe County - Yes: 140 votes (46.67%) No: 160 votes (53.33%) (Final-Official) Jefferson County - Yes: 44 votes (33.85%) No: 86 votes (66.15%) (Final-Official) The following amendments to the Municipal Code were adopted by the Board of Trustees at a public hearing on November 21, 2011. The ordinances will be effective as of December 21, 2011.
